1206 Pool, Hot tub, sauna & much more! The Hideaway Ski Suite

Arriving late at night after a long drive, it was very frustrating to find that we had no running water. After 20 minutes of trial and error, we finally got the water to work. BUT, there was still no hot water. That required turning the boiler on at the boiler, on a switch, and finally (when all else failed) at the breaker box. None of this was in the information provided by the owner or the management company. If this is normal procedure, communication is an easy fix.

The property was probably clean, but it is hard to tell because everything is just so worn out. The carpet it worn and the curtain is water stained. Each piece of freestanding furniture was broken in some way: cabinet doors wouldn't stay closed, table-top lids disconnected, and the chair is in such bad shape you can't sit in it (but it takes up a massive amount of room). There is a thick layer of moss on the balcony/deck.
The bed was comfortable, and the pullout sofa bed was acceptable for a child. But, with the bed pulled out and the chair and coffee table pushed as far against the wall as possible, it is still a tight fit to walk from the bed to the kitchen or to the bathroom. In other words, it will sleep up to 4, but 2 is the probably the limit for true comfort.
The communal pool/hot tub was lovely. The pool table didn't work.
The owner was very communicative before our stay.
The location was perfect for our purposes (Beech Mountain Summer Concert Series). That said, I would hate to think how wet and cramped it would have felt if we had stayed for a ski vacation.
Beech Mountain is a great little town.
We did not try to cook. The fridge was fine. The microwave as functional for warming up leftover pizza.
I wouldn't rent this particular unit again, but I would consider other units in Pinnacle Ridge if we would want to travel back to Beech Mountain.

Great location. Not the cleanest, nicest place to stay. These look like refurbished apartments. There was moss growing on the deck that needs to be pressure washed. I will probably pay a little more for a nicer stay my next visit.

We had a very pleasant time at pinnacle and in our particular condo. While it was a budget minded location, it was very comfortable, clean and we had a great time. The pool and hot tub area as well as the surroundings were clean and well maintained. The condo itself had most of what we required and made a nice place to chill after skiing all day.

Great place to stay with an awesome pool and sauna. Only thing is the wall heater was small and isn't enough for cold nights. Other than that, great place I'd definitely rent again.

Hosts were great; place is nice but simple. Crowded for three people but priced right. Could use a toaster :). Clubhouse pool area was a nice addition. Close to the sled hill.

The rental was enough space for two. It was clean and tidy. We came up for an evening concert. The inn is older, but the unit was well cared for.

This was a decent place to stay, not bad but definitely could have been better for the price. The bathroom needs some work, the toilet itself was loose and the fan also didn’t really work. It was small but I expected that but given the price it felt small. Also a $100 cleaning fee given that I only stayed for two days seems very steep and I noticed some hairs that definitely didn’t belong to me so it’s not like they did a super job with that $100 fee.

We had no issues at all with our stay here. The room was big enough for what we needed, sleep :) it was well equipped as well! Loved the Keurig! We came in late and still had no trouble checking in. Will absolutely stay again.
