2209 Evergreen Beech @ Pinnacle - Overlook Wedding Barn Discounts

Drove 11 hours with family and was looking forward to our stay. Arrived after business hours and got our keys without issue which was nice. Upon arrival the place larger than anticipated and has a nice touch to it. Unfortunately, the main issue was there was NO WATER. Cannot flush the toilets, wash your hands or take a shower. NOTHING... Hardly what you expect after paying good money. They have a nice info guide and numbers to call if something comes up. Even an "After hours" number you can use for urgent issues such as these. Only problem is nobody answered until the next day. Called all 4 numbers provided, texted, emailed etc.... Nothing. What is the point of after hours contact if you don't answer? Needless to say first night wasn't pleasant but not the end of the world. I won't say anything about the dirty sheets that were not washed with tons of long woman's hair in them along with the clogged-up bathtub with hair all in it. I did get an email the next day saying s0 sorry, here is how you turn the water on and then you have to turn the breakers back on too. You know.. the usual things you have to do. Nice place though, good location, quiet. I'll try another place next time.

Overall, we had a good stay. The location is excellent. It is very close to the mountain and within easy walking distance to restaurants, probably the best spot for dining in the area. It was also quiet and not crowded.
The kids enjoyed the pool and other amenities, although the pool water was a bit murky. Some of the walking paths were heavily iced in spots.
The apartment was nicely furnished and comfortable. A few small things could use attention. The shower had not been wiped down, and a few bowls in the kitchen were still dirty. The water temperature in the shower was hard to regulate, and anyone over about 5 foot 5 will need to duck under the shower head.
Overall, it is a great location and a solid place to stay. With a little property maintenance and closer attention from the cleaning team, it would be excellent. We would definitely consider staying here again.

The condo was wonderful. It was very clean and had all the essentials for preparing meals for the family. The indoor recreational facility was enjoyed by our grandchildren. The location of the condo was perfect for visiting Grandfather Mountain and Linvile Caverns.

First let me say that the rental was nicely decorated, clean and well presented. The one item to note is if you have “wild” kids there are several breakables (aka trinkets) around the unit. They also provided an air mattress if needed (we didn’t use). The units has all the necessities you would need to stay there and cook / entertain. All appliances worked well. They have board games and other very thoughtful items! It was pretty clean. It is near the swimming pool which was really nice as we used the pool several times. I would recommend renting this place and I am sure we will be back in the future!

Highly recommend staying here. Super clean, centrally located to beech and only 17 minutes from sugar.
