Birchwood Tranquility - Near all Beech Mountain activities

Conveniently located to Beech Mountain Ski Resort. The office staff were extremely kind and helpful. Wonderful place to stay.

We went with our family and had an amazing experience. First off, we went for NYE weekend and the owner had decorated the home for Christmas. It was beautiful and super sweet! The location is spot on and super close to the resort and Alpine village. It made commute very convenient. The home itself had pretty much everything needed. We took our stuff with us but they made sure we had the basics available from kitchen supplies to cleaning supplies. It snowed the day we reached, and we fully used the fireplace. They had logs and etc to start the fire. Totally would recommend and we'll be using Chalet rentals again for our next trip too!

Vicki was an amazing host! My friends and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for our ski trip! Vicki gave us great recommendations when coming into town and things to do while we were there! Everything was clean and we loved being able to have a fire every night after a long day of skiing! The slopes were only about .25-.5 away so we made the walk every day and it was great exercise! Would 10/10 recommend staying here

Great house with lots of room and perfect location. Vicki was an amazing host, our voice guiding is through the storm, literally blizzard conditions. She even brought us items from the store to help. It was the perfect place to stay and you can see beech mountain resort from her deck. The house has everything you need. You should definitely stay here.

The unit was very clean and was exactly as described. It was very quiet but so close to everything. There was nothing negative about this place. The extra firewood was an amazing perk. Will be staying here again.

Great overall experience. You can actually see the property from beech mountain resort. Wood burning fireplace was awesome. Clean and more spacious than it appears in the listing. Will 100% stay again.

We enjoyed the proximity of the house to the town of Beech and to the ski resort. There was plenty of space to spread out, with three floors plus a loft area. The kitchen was well stocked. The owner went above and beyond to help us get in a night ahead of schedule due to a bad weather forecast on the day we were supposed to be traveling. We couldn’t be more grateful. We will definitely book here for our next trip!

Renting was fairly easy and the communication with owner couldn't have been better. Place was perfect.

We had a wonderful stay at Vicki’s townhouse. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked - even had a crock pot and Keurig. We arrived just before a snow storm and woke up to a winter wonderland! Beech Mtn is the highest elevation town in NC so be mindful if traveling during winter months. The main roads are cleared quickly, but the neighborhood streets may require 4wd.The townhouse is very spacious. There’s a queen bed/bathroom downstairs, a pullout couch in the family room on the middle level, two bedrooms (each with double bed) and a bathroom on the third level, and a loft with steep ladder access to a day bed and trundle. Lots of options for sleeping arrangements for our group. There is a washer/dryer on the lower level which was perfect for drying out wet clothes after playing in the snow.Overall we had a wonderful stay and would absolutely stay here again!

The place was great and very affordable. There were no directions on what to do at checkout.

This listing / pictures do NOT do this property justice... plenty of room to spread out, beautiful views, cozy yet magical! We spent Christmas here and she had a beautiful tree and garland up for the holiday season. IT WAS ALL JUST PERFECT!

This place was absolutely perfect for us. The photos do not do it justice there is a large master suite on the bottom floor then up a flight of stairs for the kitchen and living room then up a short flight of stairs for two spacious bedrooms and a bathroom and there’s a loft that you access by a ladder that has its own half bath.Vicki was great to work with, helpful and responsive! I would absolutely book this place again if we were heading up for a ski trip. The ski resort he’s just down the road less than a mile away to the parking lots.

The two of us rented this property for seven days at the end of September…it is cheerful and wonderful! Kitchen is fully stocked with a huge supply of plates, coffee mugs, glassware, kitchen tools and paper goods. We chose the queen bed in the downstairs bedroom, which was very comfortable, and the other beds (which we did not use) appear to be new and very comfortable as well. We found the activities and restaurants in the Beech Mountain area to be among the best in the entire area.

Vicki and this property really came through for our family of 7. We had issues after 1 day with another home for a two week stay and this house/townhouse was perfect for our family. Vicki was incredibly accommodating and understanding. The house was immaculately clean and it made our trip during covid all that much better. The location was awesome, the deer and bear visits were super cool. There are really only positives. Thanks !

The pictures really don’t do the place justice! It was a lot spacier and well put together. It had all the conveniences necessary for a mini vacation! We fed deer in the mornings and enjoyed the fresh air throughout our visit!

We loved this place! Super clean, beds were made and the townhouse was well stocked. We saw multiple deer every evening so we enjoyed the deer corn that the owner supplied. There was no air conditioning so the nights were a little warm, but it’s probably not a problem much in this mountain location. Would love to stay here again in the winter!!

Townhouse is 4 levels with a bedroom and bathroom on the ground level, kitchen and small living room, 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom on third floor, bed and half bath in loft (steep ladder access). Closeness to Beech Mountain Ski resort was great! Can see slopes from windows. Kitchen was adequate with comfortable dining table. Heater was a little funky (very old) but seemed to warm okay.Has space for 2 cars, steps from front door.

The space is larger than the photos show and the gracious hosts are easy to communicate with and were meticulous in providing a clean and comfortable space. Definitely recommend and look forward to another stay soon!

Even more pleased with our experience than expected. We had 8 guests and utilized all 4 bedrooms as well as the pull out couch. They unit was clean, great accessibility to skiing attractions as well as the little town. There was a large kitchen and spacious living/dining area. Thank you so much!
