Directly on the ski slope - VIEWS! CONVENIENCE!

Enjoyed watching the skiers and snowboarders ski right by the porches and watch them from inside through the big windows. Liked looking out at the Mountain View. Plenty of room in the house for everyone. We had a great time and the snow was beautiful to see. Everyone enjoyed being able to ski right up to the house. Has to be one of the best and one of the biggest houses on the ski slope. Our second year staying at this house, we love it!

Can’t beat the location, but the house is showing lots of abuse from the years. Windows permanently fogged over blocks the view, refrigerator not working, burned out lights and old abandoned space heaters. No one shoveled the snow off the balconies.
Would we go back? Not at $1k/night.

This location is perfect for skiers and non-skiers! Step outside and put on your board or skis and you’re heading down the slope! Those who didn’t want to ski enjoyed watching through the huge windows. We had a great family weekend! Thanks to Angie and the management team for answering all of our questions!

The unit has a good layout. 3 full bathrooms and four decent size rooms. Fully stocked kitchen. The views are INCREDIBLE. Parking was not ideal. One of the two parking spots were not plowed.

Perfect location! Great rooms and the space was wonderful for our family!

Visit was scheduled to coincide with Broad-winged Hawk migration. We were able to see over 3,500 hawks migrating to South America, most flying directly overhead. Hundreds of other birds were moving up the ski slope in their migration south and provided good entertainment during the morning hours. The house and furnishings were fine. The outside of the house could use some attention but was not anything to cause us to not choose the location again. We visited Fred’s a couple of times for necessities and found most everything we needed. The gas grill worked well - used it twice. ...ordered a pizza from the Brick Oven - it was ok but a bit pricey. Our visit was to watch birds and this location was perfect as suggested by the rental management. Beautiful sunrise and stars were magnificent when the sky was clear. Wouldn’t recommend to a friend for the same time frame because we want to come back but it would be recommended for any other time - ha! It would probably be a great place for a family ski trip but we don’t ski so we would have to leave that to others. We visited Blowing Rock on Saturday and enjoyed the short trip. Great week by our standards.

We have stayed here before, but you cannot beat the views and access to the slopes. Literally 5 or 6 steps to Upper Shawneehaw slope.Been renting from Beech Mountain Chalet Rentals for over 20 years, they always take care of us!

We loved our stay at the cabin. Everything exceeded our expectations.

This house has a fabulous location and great views! We had plenty of room for our family. I highly recommend this property.

We planned this trip with a group of college grads from Lees McRae. We all graduated 20+ years ago and this was just what we needed to bring us "home!"
This house is absolutely amazingly situated ON THE SLOPE! We laughed way harder than we should at all the skiers/snowboarders and even made some posters to show our support when they were "quitting" lol! (A lot of walkers. The house is well equip with kitchen needs, and lots of room and places for people to hang out. The VIEW is seriously amazing. The house its self needs a serious deep clean and some more pillows (one per bed) BUT we would book it every year if we could! You will NOT BE Disappointed with it!

Plenty of room. Everything u need. Great wood fireplace. Large deck. Great location. Wonderful owners to work with. Stayed 3 months. Has one hot water issue which our rental company had fixed the same day. Beech MountainChalet Rental is a fabulously agency to work with, the staff is very accommodating.

BMCR had everything ready for us when we arrived. Moving in was great. House was clean and had plenty of sheets and towels. Plenty of dishes and silverware. Plenty of hot water for showering and cloths washing. We used the wood fireplace and everything was perfect...we got kindling from outside and bought some dry logs. Put out some toasty heat. First ever rental that had MORE than just basic cable along with plenty of TV’s. Had grandkids stay and they loved the loft, playroom and bunk beds. We hiked the mt. almost everyday with our dog who quickly learned she could not catch the deer.. But the best is the MILLION DOLLAR view from the huge back deck!

This is our second time renting from Beech Mtn Chalet Rentals. They have been more than accomadating. We have stayed in 2 different houses. This year the house was amazing and was a perfect fit for our big group. One of the best features was the ski out ski in option. Plus the window facing the slope to watch other skiers. Thank you we will use yall again.

Can not wait to go back!!!
