The main sleeping quarters feature a spacious Queen-size bed with premium linens, while another bedroom also offers a Queen-size bed ensuring a great night’s sleep. Additionally, the third bedroom features an adventurous set of twin bunk beds, which are perfect for children or teens. The cabin's living area is warm and comfortable. The smart TV with streaming capabilities ensures that entertainment is just a click away, perfect for cozy movie nights. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with an electric range, conventional oven, pots and pans, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, Keurig-style coffee maker, garbage disposal, microwave, and a dining table that seats six. With its incredible features and amenities, this cabin offers a complete mountain getaway experience, perfect for exploring Beech Mountain and the surrounding area. Near the Buckeye recreation area that offers tennis, pickleball, fishing, hiking trails and much more.

There is an outside patio for taking in the sunset or a covered area to relax and get out of the sun. The upstairs is a very large room perfect for gathering where you can enjoy the entire family. This room is an accumulation of 3 rooms. The wood burning fire place is surrounded by a couch and chairs to witness the ever changing colors of the mountains or majestic color of the fire. The fire place has a rock chimney that stretches to the vaulted ceilings exposing the wood beams and timber mantle. There is a flat screen tv and a few old school games to enjoy with the whole family. Some can sit at the breakfast bar over looking a gorgeous fully equipped granite kitchen while your family prepares dinner. Or perhaps you prefer to sit at the huge farm style dinning room table that sits under the deer antler chandler. The upstairs is for entertaining which has plenty of seats and a bathroom off to the side. This is perfection after a long drive or a tough day of skiing or hiking, enjoy sipping local wine or even local foods, look for the brochures of these places and more in the kitchen. The lower level is the sleeping area. 3 bedrooms 2 baths each well appointed for all your needs. This level sits on a formulation of very large boulders where deer might be lounging on top. The bedrooms each come furnished with soft linens but not too soft mattresses which allows for a great night sleep. The bunk room has 2 sets of bunk beds the kids just love this room. The master has very nice queen bed and its own flat screen tv and bath not mention a beautiful long range view through the trees of the mountains. The last bedroom has a large queen bed with a view of the boulders around the property. There is a laundry area to help navigate through some of the finer details. The wonderful property offers an abundance of wildlife. Usually the deer sleep on the front boulder collection just after their feast on the leaves from the lots behind the home. There is a fire ring outback that has many Adirondack chairs surrounding it. Please burn only what you will stand by and enjoy. We try to maintain the wood supply but remember no pine in the home and please leave some for others. We start the season off with plenty of firewood but do not actively restock along the year, wood can be purchased at Fred’s. The home is centrally located near to all and by the beech resort, beech club, Fred’s if you forget something u might require, as well as many restaurants and brewery. Remember snow can fall and will so AWD/4wd and or chains may be required at times. The home is on a quiet road with very little traffic. The roads do get plowed but it is the mountains so we never know if we are first or second to have it done. There are many great hikes from right out our front door. Let the kids enjoy outside or walk the woods. While your stay we use a keyless entry system that is unique for you. There is no special time to get here once u are past check in. We cannot predict what the weather can or will do, although we always hope it’s ideal for your stay. No refunds will be given due to weather conditions. Guest access You will have access to the entire house. Other things to note Stairs are required! 4WD/Snow Chains required in the winter. No A/C since Beech Mtn has mild summers with average temperatures in the 70's. Opening windows and turning on fans are enough to cool the house.

Mile High View is an updated 2 bedroom / 2 bath condo at the popular Pinnacle Inn Resort. The unit has 1 queen bed, set of bunk beds and sleeps sofa to sleep 6 people comfortably. If previous guests have depleted the supply, you can pick up some at Fred’s Mercantile, and let us tell you, you need to go there at least once while you’re on the mountain anyway. Try their breakfast! A towel warmer, a separate forced air heater in the bathroom and a boot dryer/warmer for two sets of boots ensure you will be warm and dry in no time after a day of fun in the snow. Speaking of the bathroom, no luxury bathroom is complete without a bidet, and we have one, along with a bathtub/shower combination, and we supply a double set of bath towels and washcloths. Whether you want to explore the area or spend all your time indoors, Slopes and Spokes is ideally located on the first floor and near parking. Relax in front of the wood-burning fireplace or on the deck outfitted with two bentwood style rockers and a small table where you are almost guaranteed to see deer and other wildlife grazing on the lawn as Pinnacle Inn is inside the wildlife reserve. Pinnacle Inn also has an All Seasons Center with a large, heated pool, two saunas, hot tub, game room, vending machines, workout facility and large dressing rooms and bathrooms. Come with a group and retreat back to your individual condos for quiet time as needed. Walking to town or to iconic locations such as Fred’s is easy or take a short drive to Banner Elk and Sugar Mountain if you prefer the slopes, restaurants and shopping there. With concerts and events in the summer and an average summer temperature in the low 70’s, the “slow season” is actually a great time to visit. And, don’t forget the Woolly Worm Festival, Land of Oz and spectacular fall foliage in September and October! As this condo is also the owners’ personal retreat, it is true to the original short term rental concept of staying in someone’s home.
